Barbara J Deisinger

Barbara J. Deisinger, age 65, of Monmouth, Illinois passed away at 4:17 pm on August 13, 2013 at OSF St.Mary Medical Center in Galesburg, Illinois. She was born on December 29, 1947 in Monmouth, the daughter of Charles and Kathryn Abbott Clark. She was raised in Monmouth and Biggsville and attended locals schools. She first married Danny Lee, and later married Clarence E. Deisinger on March 7, 1974 in Monmouth, Illinois. Barbara was first employed at Agar in Monmouth for a time and then worked in house keeping at several local motels and also at Monmouth Nursing Home. Lastly she was employed at CRG Manufacturing, south of Monmouth for a time. Barbara enjoyed camping, doing puzzles, and especially spending time with her family and grandchildren. Barbara is survived by her husband Clarence of Monmouth and three sons, Danny (Ann) Greenstreet Jr. of Rushville, IL, Kevin (Eva) Greenstreet of Beardstown,IL., and Brian (Francene) Greenstreet of Monmouth and one brother Sam Strange

of Des Moines,Iowa. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded by her parents, one sister Mary and 2 brothers, Larry and Robert.

Services:A funeral service is planned for Friday, August 16, 2013 at 10:30 am at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Thursday August 15,2013 at Turnbull Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Monmouth Cemetery. A memorial fund is being established by her family.
