In her earlier years she enjoyed hiking and camping with her husband, Eric, who she met while they were both attending Penn State University.
Left to cherish her memory is her spouse of 38 years, Eric Wetherhold; daughter, Amanda Wetherhold; aunt and godmother, Lorraine Kinder; godfather, Butch Stefko; cousins, David Fisher (Tina) of Harrisburg, Pa., and Mark Fisher of Donora, Pa.; and many other loved ones and friends.

Allison Memorial Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.

Thanks go out to Mark and Joyce Krassa for payng for the renewal for the MVCH1975.com web site name renewal for 2023. we can continue to use this site for messages through the end of next year.

Hope everyone has a very happy holiday season.

It is with great sadness that I post the obituary of another calssmate, Karen Piccione.

https://monvalleyindependent.com/2021/01/karen-marie-teach-piccione/

May she rest in peace.

We have decided to postpone the reunion until next year due to the current uncertainty surrounding the virus. Some classmates have expressed a desire to try to still have an informal gathering on that date if restrictions allow. The pavilion is still reserved. It would most likely be BYOB and bring a covered dish. We will see how things progress. We will again plan for the formal reunion in 2021.

At this point in time, it is not prudent to proceed even with the informal gathering that we mentioned earlier when the 45th reunion was cancelled. I will be proceeding with getting a refund for the pavilion from Washington County.

Sometime  fall, we can begin to discuss possible dates for a reunion in 2021. If the process for reserving pavilions is the same as this year, we will need to make our reservation with the County the 2nd week in January. (That is a big IF since the old process involved hundreds of people huddled together for several hours waiting for the doors to open. Maybe they will come up with an online process).

Thanks

MVCH Class of 1975 45th reunion - mark your calendars!
We have our site reserved - it will be on Saturday, August 29th at Pavilion #2 in Mingo Creek park.
Wanted to get word out ASAP so everyone can set the date aside on their calendars.

Paul Nosal will be coordinating the reunion effort and more details will be forthcoming as they are finalized.

We are planning to have a 45th class reunion at Mingo Creek Park in 2020, sometime in the mid-August to eary September timeframe. Plans are in the formative stages right now and we cannot reserve a shelter until January 13th. At that time, we will have our date established and will let everyone know so that you can set that date aside.

Paul Nosal has volunteered to lead the effort.

If you are interested in helping with the event in any way and haven't already indicated that, please let us know.

More details as we get them.
