A lot of us thought Nile just a little strange, but he had a heart of gold. His death occured when he went out to help a friend retrieve his truck which was stuck on the mountain. On his way off the mountain the truck he was in rolled causing injuries which later caused his death. The friend he was helping happened to be a nephew of mine. Thanks Nile, and in a way we are all a little strange.

This is Holly. I remember Nile. He was a fun person to be around and he was nice to me. I didn't have many friends in high school and felt left out but Nile was one of my friends and helped me feel not so much that way. I miss him as I am sure all of us who know him will.

I may not have agreed with the way he presented himself at times, he did have a good heart and a jovial personality, and based off of some of the personal trials that he went through its amazing how he carried on. "Stange is what Stange does"

I loved Nile, and I always will.
When I first came to Utah from California, him and his family were one of the first to accept me. I didn't like him at first, I thought he was strange too, but then; I thought everyone in Monroe/Elsinore area was strange!
I begrudgingly accepted dating him (I was after his step-brother) He became my first sweetheart and we dated for two years. I suppose we were kind of an odd couple, seeing how everyone thought he was gay (and from what I understand that prediction came true after I left). My kids laugh at me about that when we talk about it now. I don't care. He was one of the kindest, funnest, sweetest, most real people you could have known. He would have done anything for anyone that needed something, even if you'd been sworn enemies of his before. I am glad I got to know him and his family, I am glad that I dated him. I am so happy that we got to spend that couple of years together. Times with him and his family, and some of my other close friends; as well as some from South Sevier, are some of my fondest memories. Does anyone remember that Nile was the schools mascot/ram for a while?
I came through Elsinore three years ago, and found out from my x-brother in law, that Nile was with his niece when he was fatally injured. At the time I thought, what a small world, that he would be with Marks niece...
I am so sad that he is gone. I know that he did some suffering before he left this world, and that breaks my heart even more. Some of the truly good hearted people seem to suffer and die so young.
