BELANGER, MR. JAMES V. Montague James Vernon Belanger 39, died unexpectedly Wednesday April 28, 2010. He was born on May 28, 1970 in Muskegon to David Belanger and June Dean. James was a 1988 graduate of Montague High School where he was an outstanding running back for the Wildcats. He had worked for Montague Metal Products for the past 15 years. He was a loving and caring father, son, brother, uncle and friend, who will be sadly missed. James is survived by his 2 children: Alyss and Jimmy; his parents: June and Dave Dean and David Belanger; his brothers and sisters: Scott (Christy) Belanger, Nathan (Lacey) Dean, Dana (Keith) Mann, Sharon (Jeff) Pierce, Cody Belanger, Chad Belanger, Brandon Belanger, Tina (Jeff) Field, Ginny Dean, Steve (Jasmine) Dean, and David Dean. He is also survived by a special person who was there as he grew up: Carmen (Baker) Belanger; his two best friends: Russ Loudermilk and Chris VanSanden; sister-in-law: Timara (Adam) Gill; brother-in-law: Kevin Cathcart and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. James was preceded in death by: his wife; Kim, Grandparents; Vernon (Myrtle) Cole, Jack (Gerri) Lintjer, Bill (Dorothy) Dean and Ray Belanger. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at the Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel. Memorial contributions may be directed to James' children for an education fund.
