Michael (Mike) Zimmerman of West Helena, Arkansas, passed away on March 11, 2016 after a lengthy struggle with cancer. Mike was born in Muskegon,MI on August 25, 1969 to the late Ronald C Zimmerman and Lyn Vickers. He leaves behind his wife of 22 years, Nortoria, his children Terrence Mitchell, Amanda Zimmerman, Te'a Zimmerman, Miracle Zimmerman and a grandson Kingston Zimmerman.
Mike graduated from Montague High school and then joined the United States Army. Where he served in Operation Desert Storm and was stationed in Germany. After leaving the military , Mike found a passion for driving trucks and drove for various companies in the Phillips County area. He drove a semi-truck for many years for Farmers Supply.
He is also survived by his parents, Harry and Lyn Vickers, his mother-in-law, Iona Mitchell, sister, Kellie Grennel, brother Jeff Vickers, Brothers-in-law Damien Campbell, Don(Lisa) Taylor, Jimmie(Lisa) Taylor, Aaron(Monique)Mitchell, Lonnie(LaCrystal) Mitchell, and Cedrick(Lynn) Mitchell, sisters-in-law, Angela Jackson (Kenny), and Kim Mitchell, Cardria Mitchell, special nieces, Brandi Grenell, Veronica Grenell, Tiffani Russell, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and associates.
