Time does go very fast. Since 1969, I got my BA from USF, I married a wonderful man, raised two beautiful and adoring sons, worked for twenty years for the same company, be a caregiver to my elderly parents, and finally moved from my beloved Monterey Peninsula to retire with my husband and be closer to our grandchild.
Two years ago my husband, Douglas, who is a CPA, decided it was time for him to retire and for us to move on. The things that needed my attention were no longer required here. My dear mother had passed away that year. We sold our home the following year and sad as it was, I was ready to go. What was in store for us in the next half of our lives? Many wonderful and glorious things, I'm sure.
Today, we live in a beautiful home in sunny Arizona not five minutes away from our son and his family. Scottsdale is down the road where there are wonderful restaurants and shops. And Flagstaff is an hour away, now covered in snow.
I am thankful to God for all His blessings, especially for family and friends.
It will be wonderful to see again all our dear friends.
