Mike was my best friend through elementary, junior high, and high school. We were roommates in college and he was my best man. I was devistated to learn of his early passing. I will miss him greatly, but alway charish the time and memories we shared together. The one thing that always made me smile was that when ever we went fishing together, something "story worthing" always seemed to happen to him. Mostly, he always ended up falling in the drink or had some sort of run in with an idiot fisherman that would piss mike off so bad that he would end up throwing a herring at them. At any rate every one of those stories began with either, Sooo there we were! or Sooo get a load of this shit! I only wish we could have had more of those stories. He left us too soon.Bill Knutz
I really owe a large gratitude to Mike and Matt for helping me get my ass in gear and work towards graduating, they helped me alot, mentors for life... it was nice to actually make the honor roll, so I didn't really hang out much, I just wanted to be one of the group that was gonna graduate. Hopefully, Mike still remembers me, there will be a day when we are old(passed) where we can sit down and make up for lost times, but until then, I want to enjoy more of what is now. I keep in touch with Matt as much as I can, I had lost touch with Mykra, just got tid-bits here and there from Matt... I recieved a letter from Mike when I was in the desert (Kuwait, Desert Storm) it was when Mike and Sara were together. Very energetic,WSU letter head Feb. 13th 1991... so that is how I am going to remember him, With Love for all, Bill
