Cheryl, a lifelong Montesano resident was born on May 16, 1971, to Jon and Marie Black of Montesano. She grew up and attended school in Montesano and worked at Washington Tractor. In addition, Cheryl was attending Grays Harbor College. She received a certificate of completion in her nursing assistant training program and was registered as a nursing assistant.
Cheryl enjoyed softball, darts, family activities, and camping. She loved watching her son and daughter’s sporting events. Cheryl is survived by her loving fiance, Robert Choate; children, Dillon Michael Dimler and Ashley Nykole Black; father, Jon Black; sister, Sheri Marie Kelley of Montesano; brothers, Mark Steven Black of Elma and Jon James Black of Montesano; and nieces, Kimberly Kelley, Brittney Hall, and Jessica Black; and nephews Ryan Black, Nicholas Kelley , Eric Kelley, George Kelley and Austin Black.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Marie A. Black and grandmother, Mary Southard.
