For those of you who were fortunate enough to know my brother, he was the sweetest, kindest soul. Though he was shy, those he let close to him were touched by his amazing spirit and contagious laughter. He became addicted to prescription painkillers after suffering a back injury. After losing the battle to stay sober, he decided to end his suffering on December 13, 2007. He is in our hearts, minds, and thoughts every day, and our lives will never be the same without him.
