Davey was in his second year at Auburn and on his way back to school from Montgomery. He died on May 6th, only 7 days before his 20th birthday. Many of us had his mom, Mrs. Stambaugh, as a teacher while we were at Lee. Those of us who were lucky enough to know and love Davey miss him every day.
