Thomas Edward Tanton of Marietta, Georgia, passed away on July 20, 2024, at the age of 77, following ongoing health complications. A devoted husband, proud father, doting grandfather, Christian, Army veteran, avid reader, amateur photographer, and HAM radio enthusiast, Edward touched many lives.

Edward is survived by his loving wife, Theresa Tanton; his sons, Russell Tanton and Christopher Tanton; their spouses, Amber Rhea and Abby Tanton; and his grandchildren, Fitz Tanton and James Tanton.

The family asks that–in lieu of gifts or flowers–donations be directed either to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Heart Association.
