Not too many people knew that Shawanis and I were cousins. However, we had great times to be talked about and remembered forever. I will never forget all of the whoopings we got for not being on the porch when the street light came on. LOL! We fought one another growing up but would also beat up anyone that messed with either one of us. She had the most beautiful spirit you could ever come into to contact with. Shawanis could have the world on her shoulders and could still be there to comfort you through your struggle. Even when she knew she was dying she didn’t let anyone feel sad or down around her. You don’t realize how much a person means to you until you no longer have them. Our family will truly miss her. The Pressley, Green and Lewis family would like to thank you all for remembering her.
