Jamie J. Soppe Jackson, 39 of Durant, IA formerly of Monticello, IA died on Thursday, March 3, 2011 in Grand Mound, IA.

Jamie was born on June 1, 1971 in Monticello, IA the daughter of James H. and Naomi L. Aldrich Soppe. She graduated from Monticello High School in 1989 and from Ellsworth College in Iowa Falls in 1991.

Jamie worked at John Deere in Moline, IL where she managed the gift shop. Her children were the most important part of her life. She enjoyed fishing, camping and going on weekend trips with her children.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Durant, IA, where the family will greet friends from 10:00 until the service.

Inurnment will be held at a later date at the Monticello Cemetery, Monticello, IA.

Jamie is survived and lovingly remembered by her children: Joy Jackson and Eli Diercks both of Durant, her mother Naomi Soppe of Monticello, IA and her sisters: Cindy and her husband Craig Kahl and Roxie Hoffmann both of Durant, IA and Lori and her husband Terry Pearson of Cedar Rapids, IA and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father James H. Soppe and her grandparents.

A memorial has been established for her children.
