Janette F. Burton, 56 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Wednesday October 11, 2017 at her residence. Janette was born April 29, 1961 in Warren County Kentucky to the late Glen Boone and Ida Alford Childress. She was a member of Oak Ridge General Baptist Church and employed at Sumitomo for 30 years. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by one grandson Tildon Cooper.
Janette F. Burton is survived by her husband Jimmy Burton of Morgantown, Kentucky; two daughters Sara Cooper (Jeremy) of Morgantown, Kentucky and Haley Harris (Thomas) of Morgantown, Kentucky; one son Nathan Burton (Haleigh) of Morgantown, Kentucky; two granddaughters Delaney and Kaitlyn Cooper of Morgantown, Kentucky and three grandsons Trenton Cooper, Paxton and Maddox Harris all of Morgantown, Kentucky; one sister Debra Geary of Morgantown, Kentucky; one brother Scott Boone (Sherry) of Bowling Green, Kentucky and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Oak Ridge General Baptist Church Friday October 13, 2017 at 1:00pm with Bro. Eddie Slaubaugh officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday October 12, 2017 from 3:00pm - 8:00pm and Friday 9:00am until funeral time at 1:00pm at the Oak Ridge General Baptist Church.
