Mark Thomas Madison, 48, of Scottsville died at 2:30 a.m. Aug. 2, 2009.
The Warren County native was a longtime shipping and receiving employee of LORD Corp. Madison. He was always smiling and everyone enjoyed his company. He was an avid deer hunter and sportsman, enjoyed taxidermy as a hobby and would always rather be riding his Harley. His motto was “Never give up, and never surrender.” He was a son of William Kenneth Madison and Faye Thomas Madison of Bowling Green, who survive.
Funeral is at 10 a.m. Wednesday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Lovers Lane chapel, with cremation to follow. Visitation is from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Other survivors include three sons, Marcus Kyle Madison of Bowling Green, Timothy Kirk Madison of Camp Pendleton, Calif., and Tyler Kent Madison of Bowling Green; two brothers, William Alan Madison and James Paul Madison and his wife, Jennifer, all of Bowling Green; two sisters, Wava Pendley and her husband, Bobby, of Morgantown and Peggy Hoffman and her husband, Shane, of Lebanon, Tenn.; three nieces, Becky Pendley of Bowling Green, Tracy Wilson and her husband, Ben, of Morgantown and Olivia Dunn of Morgantown; three nephews, Dex Snider and A.J. Snider, both of Lebanon, Tenn., and Elliott Madison of Bowling Green; and a special companion whom he loved dearly, Michelle Brown of Scottsville.
