David Fleming passed away, suddenly, March 18, 1986. He is survived my his parents who still reside in Morton and his two sisters. I miss him every day. I still remember going to all the baseball games with Jeromee Hermann's mom...:)

I, too, still miss him. I enjoyed working with him in Biology. He was a big Jayhawks fan and was excited about the upcoming NCAA tournament in 1986. He always said that he thought Danny Manning was going to carry Kansas through the NCAA tournament. That year, Manning was only a sophmore. The Jayhawks didn't win the tournament, but Manning did lead the Jayhawks to the NCAA title two years later as a senior.

Our lives are shaped by three or four "life changing moments" as well as, a handful of "true" friends. I have shared in each with Dave. The world was a better place with him in it and I definitely am a better person because he was a true friend. I thank him everyday for keeping me safe and grounded thru the dark times.
