Elarry Brumfield, Jr., affectionately known as “Junior” by his family, was born March 20, 1983 in Pascagoula, Mississippi to the late Elarry Brumfield, Sr. and Ann B. Brumfield. Elarry was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Michael Cross, and his paternal grandparents William and Leona Holloway and Elijah Brumfield. On Sunday, January 11, 2015, Elarry went on to eternal rest with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Elarry was known by many and loved by all. He was a graduate of Moss Point High School Class of 2001. He participated in the Tennis program at school which landed him a scholarship to enroll at Tougaloo College. In addition to his athletic abilities, he excelled academically, receiving an academic scholarship as well. Elarry graduated from Tougaloo College in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. He recently gained employment with Ingalls Shipbuilding as an electrical apprentice.

Elarry was well-known in the community and as some would say, “would never meet a stranger”. Elarry, an entrepreneur at heart, obtained his brokerage license, owned and operated his own FedEx route and also experimented with other business ventures. He was an avid sportsman engaging in football and baseball for many years. In May 2011 Elarry was joined in marriage to Chantel Fantroy and through this union, two beautiful children Elarry III and Nydea were born. Elarry was a devoted and loving husband and father. .He adored his children and family and enjoyed creating precious memories. He touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity. Elarry enjoyed spending time outdoors and dedicated many days to beautifying his yard, just like his father. He enjoyed fishing to pass time or just to relax.
