Dawn passed away in March 2007 from Breast Cancer. She lived in Shelby Township. Survived by her husband Brad, children: Phoenix (14), Phelan (12), Joshua (5) and step daugher, Riley (12), parents: Judi and Gary and sister Sherrie.
Dawn battled the disease to the very end. She was able to fulfill her lifelong dream of recording a music CD and this was done. It was called It's R time and was released in January 2007, just 2 months before she passed away.

To all of you that don't live in the same area where we went to school, Dawn left this world with the same grace and smile that we remembered. There were fundraisers, news stories galore about both Dawn and Sherrie, who handled every moment with their trademark smiles and laughter. Even though we didn't keep in touch after graduation, her presence is truly missed.
