Ann Joy Knightly (Goddard) died January 27, 2023.

Joy was the daughter of Francis Goddard and Amalie Willis Goddard.

She married Roger Knightly in June of 1959, and they lived in Durham for 58 years before moving to Havenwood Heritage Heights in 2017.

Joy was predeceased by her husband Roger, her son Russell Knightly, and her brother Gene Goddard.

She leaves behind sons Howard (Curt) and wife Debra Knightly of Durham, Scott and wife Tonya Knightly of Northwood, Daughter-in-law Jocelyn Knightly of Durham. Six grandchildren, Matthew Knightly and Jenell Green, Robert Knightly and wife Cammy, Nicholas Knightly, Cameron Knightly, Christian Knightly, and Hannah Knightly. Two great grandsons Owen and Tucker.

Memorial service will be at the Community Church of Durham on June 3, 2023 at 2:00.
