Wife Joan Elizabeth Metzger, a graduate of Lincoln School and Bates College; Daughter Lynn (Badger) Logsdon, a graduate of Minnechaug Regional High School and Russell Sage College, Master’s Degree in special education/reading from Lesley College, presently Special Education teacher in Palmer, Massachusetts. Two children: Kendall, ninth grade; Andrew seventh grade; son Douglas Badger, a graduate of Minnechaug Regional High School and Middlebury College and University of Idaho, Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration. Presently Director of Admissions Systems and Operations, Middlebury College, with two children: Spencer, fifth grade; Davis, second grade.
