Till this epidemic have been auditing 9 to 12 credits a semester at Pitt, learning what I never had had a chance to study in engineering school. I ride my refurbished racing bike after a 42 year break but had to lower the seat since I lost 2.5" in height somehow. Rebuildling fence I made in 03, nothing like digging manual post holes to teach you your age. Promised my wife after this summer's repairs to our 90 year old windows to sell the 24 foot extension ladder.
In the 3 years since I retired have not yet fixed up the wood shop or tool areas but my mind is kept busy with 9 zoom classes per week. We celebrated our 50th anniversary by touring national parks in Alaska in 2017. We are enjoying the advantages of living in Squirrel Hill compared to life in Hammond IN & Greensburg. I can walk to the bagel & ice cream store and the library. Only thing missing are the grandchildren in Washington & New Haven. The parents can stay there, just send the kids.
