Julie R. Dennis, 34, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at Mid Michigan Regional Medical Center in Clare.

A Funeral Mass for Julie will be held on Saturday, February 24th at 10:30 a.m. from Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Robert Byrne officiating. Interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 23rd from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. at Clark Funeral Chapel. A prayer service will be held on Friday at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Saturday, February 24, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel and the church.

Julie was born on September 14, 1972 in Lexington Park, MD, the daughter of Roger and Joyce (Johnson) Dennis. She graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in 1990 and Massage Therapy Institute in 2001. Julie worked as a nanny for a number of years and owned Relaxing Massage Therapy of Mt. Pleasant. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Julie loved to read, talking on the phone, computers, music, playing cards and was a big Red Wings fan.

Julie is survived by her parents, Roger and Joyce Dennis of Mt. Pleasant; grandmother, Lillian Johnson of Maryland; brother, Jake Dennis of Mecosta; aunts and uncles, Gloria and Jackie Abell, Tommy and Carolyn McMahon, Mary and Steve Vaughan, Debbie and Mark Fulton, Walter and Joyce Johnson, Billy Johnson, Donnie and Terri Johnson, Mike and Charlene Johnson, Barb Dennis, Marion and Lena Ludwig and Newell and Shirley Dennis and many cousins.

Julie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Cecil and Bernice Dennis; grandfather, William Johnson; uncles and aunt, Cecil Jr. and Sherry Dennis and Russell Dennis and cousin, Patty Dennis.
