November 7, 1972 – September 29, 2007

A wonderful man Scott Russell, 34, passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2007, at Mid Michigan Regional Medical Center in Midland.

Funeral services for Scott will be held on Wednesday, October 3, at 3 p.m. from Clark Family Funeral Chapel with Pastor Joel Thomford officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery. The family will gather with friends on Tuesday, October 2, from 3-9 p.m. at Clark Family Funeral Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to the Isabella County Cancer Services or Scotty Tiger Russell Scholarship Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

Scott was born on November 7, 1972, the son of Dale and Joanne (Conzemius) Russell. He graduated in the Class of 1990 from Mt. Pleasant High School. Scott married Elizabeth Schulz on June 2, 2006 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Clare. He worked for F.E.D. Corporation in Gladwin as an Iron worker. Scott was a member of Sons of the American Legion Post 110; VFW Men’s Auxiliary Post 3033 and the Dolphin Coin Dart Assoc. for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, reading the newspaper and was an avid U-M and Detroit Tiger sports fan. Scott loved his family and friends and being an Uncle.

Scott is survived by his wife, Beth of Mt. Pleasant; expected son, Scotty Tiger Russell; parents, Dale and Joanne Russell; sisters, Kimberly (Michael) Benaske and Jodi Bixby both of Mt. Pleasant; brothers, Casey Russell of Atlanta, GA and Jacob Russell and Holli Bristley of Mt. Pleasant; grandmother, Bernadine Russell of Milford, MI; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; father and mother in law; Neil and Annette Schulz; brother in law, Aaron Schulz both of Ashley, MI; grandparents, Pauline Sourek and Paul and Martha Schulz; and many friends.
