Roger Alan Hills

Roger Alan Hills, 48, of Midland, passed away after a courageous battle with Huntington's Disease on Tuesday, February 26, 2002 at Mid Michigan Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services for Roger will be held on Saturday, March 2, at 10:30 a.m. at Clark Funeral
Chapel with Pastor Steve Bradshaw officiating. Interment will take place in Riverside Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Chapel on Friday March 1, from 4-9 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Huntington Disease Society of America, Michigan Chapter. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
Roger was born on June 25, 1953, in Mt. Pleasant, the son of Herbert and Marcille (Price) Hills. He graduated in 1971 from Mt. Pleasant High School where he was actively involved in football and wrestling. He attended Ferris State University. Roger was a pipe fitter, first working for General Motors in Pontiac from 1973-1989 and then Ford in Sterling Heights from 1990-1998. Roger was a member of the Huntington Disease Society. His hobbies included collecting duck memorabilia and fishing, and he enjoyed spending his free time on the family farm.
Roger is survived by his children Michael Alan Hills of Ferndale, Robert Alan Hills and Thomas Alan Hills, both of Sylvan Lake; his parents Herbert and Marcill Hill of Mt. Pleasant; his brothers Brad Hills of Mt. Pleasant and Herbert Hills of Rosebush; his sister Paula (Carl) Leonard of Shepherd; and his devoted friend and caregiver, David Stickles.
