
Randolph T. “Randy”/“Rudy” Kole, age 67 of Clare, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at the Mt. Pleasant McLaren Hospital. On October 20, 1953, Randy was born one of seven children to Ted and Marion (Tanasychuk) Kole in Toronto, Ontario Canada.
Randy was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School Class of 1971 and was a lifetime resident of the Central Michigan area, having moved with his family to Michigan shortly after he was born.
During his work career, Randy proudly served as a member of the United Association Local 798 Union working pipeline as a journeyman pipe fitter and later becoming an iron and metal inspector.
Those that knew Randy well, knew that cars were his passion. From restoring classics like his 50’s era Bel Air, to watching NASCAR, and later to working on model scales, he was a complete and total enthusiast. Randy also enjoyed riding his Harley and traveling the country in his younger years.
Randy is survived by his daughter Tiffanie (Isaiah) Radke of Farwell, his siblings Larry (Cindy) Kole of Rosebush, Dave (Beth) Kole of Clare, Don (Keri) Kole of Allen Park and Nick (Jose) Kole of Mexico, Randy Harless and several nieces and nephews. Randy was preceded in death by his parents Ted and Marion Kole and his siblings Gerald/Jerry (Orv) Kole and Debra June Kole-Harless.
A time of visitation for family and friends of the Kole family will take place on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at the Farwell Chapel of the Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M.to 8:00 P.M. Memorial contributions in honor of Randy may be directed to his family for a designation yet to be determined.
