Roger Baron

Roger Anthony Baron formerly of Mount Prospect Roger Anthony Baron of Elgin, Ill., was born Dec. 6, 1960, and died suddenly on Saturday, May 19, 2012, at his home. He brought a unique sense of humor with a special joy, loyalty and dedication to everyone and everything he encountered. He loved animals, sports (football and wrestling) and people. He was a good, loving, caring and compassionate man and father. He will be greatly missed by all. Respecting his wishes, there will be no public visitation service except for his immediate family followed by cremation.

A memorial open house will be held on Thursday, May 31, from 3:30 until 8 p.m. at 904 Brook St. (corner of Brook and Slade; red brick two story), Elgin, IL 60120. Roger was employed by Baxter International - Buffalo Grove, Ill. as Quality Supervisor in Global Therapy Supplies, Infusion and Medical devices since 2009. He also served as a Wrestling Official for the Illinois Wrestling Officials Association over the years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emil J. Baron and Helen M. Baron; and his nephews, Edmund J. Baron and Christopher M. Baron. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Isabel Mercedes Baron; six siblings and their extended families, Jim (Louise) Baron, Gloria Cascino, Larry (Victoria) Baron, Beverley Baron, Raymond (Mary) Baron and Debra Baron; two Siberian Huskies, Tala and Poncho; and scores of cherished friends and coworkers.
