Chuck Wells

It is with sincere saddness that our classmate Brian Petty reports the death of our classmate Chuck wells.  Chuck died in May, 2005 of cancer.  Brian so kindly has forwarded Chuck's obituary to us and it appears below as it appeared in the North County Times, a newspaper serving Riverside County, California.

Chuck Wells, 43

 

RAINBOW - Chuck Wells, 43, died Sunday, May 1, 2005, at his home of cancer.

Born March 18, 1962, in Twin Falls, Idaho, he lived in Rainbow for 10 years. He worked at AAA Star Satellite in Rainbow. He was president of Vallecitos School District governing board and was on the Vallecitos Advisory Committee. He was a member of the R.A.I. Digital High School governing board and the Rainbow Property Owners Association. He was a member of the New Covenant Fellowship Church in Temecula.

Mr. Wells is survived by his wife of 22 years, Sandy Wells of Rainbow; mother and stepfather, Kay and Art Davis of Rogerson, Idaho; father and stepmother Phil and Della Wells of Rainbow; sons Karl Holt of Mountain Home, Idaho, and Andrew Wells of Rainbow; daughters and son-in-law Lisa Holt of Mountain Home, Kris and Lee Hepworth of Boise, Idaho, Jenni Wells of Fallbrook and Sally Wells of Rainbow; brothers and sister-in-law Bud and Ruta Wells of Boring, Ore., and Wayne Wells of Vancouver, Wash.; sister Sherri George of Twin Falls, Idaho; and grandchildren Wyatt, Jack, Jacob, and a new baby.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, May 6, at Rainbow Valley Community Church, 2560 Rainbow Valley Blvd. in Fallbrook.

The family suggests donations to the Vallecitos School Scholarship Fund, 5211 5th St. Fallbrook, CA 92028, Fallbrook Hospice, 624 E. Elder St., Fallbrook, CA 92028, or the Burzynkski Institute, 6221 Corporate Drive, Houston, TX 77036.

Berry-Bell & Hall Fallbrook Mortuary is handling arrangements.

Well, this is sad news.  I remember Chuck's positive personality and willingness to help me with school work. I am so glad I knew him. Elly Frey (Wiley)
