Alexander's obituary indicates that he passed away in Mt Wellington, Auckland, New Zealand. Alexander was a respected academic and sportsman during his time at Mount Albert Grammar School. He was a husband to Meidinna and father to Conrad and Benjamin. Friends and family remember him as a genuine, thoughtful, and intelligent person with a kind heart and a calming presence. Alex has spent most of his working life as an international lawyer, most recently in Oman. After the family came back to New Zealand permanently, they resettled first in Tairua and then latterly in Hamilton. His latest role was an investment manager with Castlerock Partners.
