Tony Cushing

Our beloved Tony passed away September 16, 2004. He will be greatly missed, and our world will never be the same without Tony nearby.

Tony was born February 4, 1972, in Boston, MA. He married his high school sweetheart, Paula M. Jeffs, on May 15, 1993.

He is survived by his wife Paula, two beautiful children, Madison Nellie and Jakob Cobain, parents Dianna and Mark Vandermeyden, father Richard Cushing, brother Nick, sisters Ashley and Kate, grandparents Doris and Del Cantrell, Paula's parents Dee and LaRue Jeffs, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many wonderful friends. His grandparents Gene Swaringen, and Clark and Anita Cushing preceded Tony in death.

Tony graduated from Murray High School in 1990 and from Westminster College in 1995 with a BS in Business Administration. He worked at Allied Fence Co. and UPS. Tony's passion for music of all types led to the success of his bands, "My Friend Moses," and "Downright Blue." The bands played throughout the valley and released three CD's of dynamic and original music.

We want to especially thank his aunt Melinda Mandrillo, friends Roger and Phil, the Fowlks Family, UPS and AAPC co-workers, Harmony Hospice, and the many family members and dear friends who provided loving care and support throughout the past year.
