OBITUARY

Emma Leigh Camp 1977 ~ 2011 Emma Leigh Camp; beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend; passed away on August 6, 2011 from a pulmonary embolism.

Emma was born on January 18, 1977 to Steve and Carol Talmage Camp in Salt Lake City, Utah. She graduated from Murray High School and the University of Utah. Smart, sophisticated, and determined practically from birth, Emma asked as a small child if she could go to pre-school when she was finished with college. She spent her lifetime perfecting a vast range of talents; Emma was not only a brilliant artist and a magnificent cook, but she could master anything she put her mind to, even taking a gig as a junior high school French teacher.

Emma's humorous way of making everyone welcome and her attention to the smallest details made her a natural at her job as Community Council Advisor at Daybreak. But most of all, Emma was generous. She gave, without question, of her time, talents, and means to everyone she met, no matter how briefly. In particular, Emma had a soft spot for all animals and shared an instant bond with them. Emma is survived by her parents, brothers Ian (Carolynn) and Daniel, sister Jane, niece Mary Virginia, grandmother AnnaBelle (John) Burr, many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins, and her dog, Oscar, who will miss her always.
