Comments:

I wrote a novel about my navy years titled "Steve McQueen Would Be Proud." Currently, I'm working on family stories.

In April 2016, my local history book "Legendary Locals of Estes Park" was published. It profiles people and events, both past and present, that have shaped the mountain town of Estes Park.

In August 2017 I published a novel about my year in Vietnam titled "Throwing Grenades at Gilligan's Island."

In June 2018, Lori and I moved to Muscatine after 38 years in Colorado. Our son Jeff was offered a job with Contrary Brewing, a brewery my brother Mark founded in Muscatine in 2015.

Hi Joe. great to hear from you. Thanks for the birthday greetings. We had a code of conduct? I do know that we had to wear a sport coat and tie when we traveled by bus to away basketball games. I hope all is well with you. --Steve
