Changes in Muscatine since 89

Many people moved away and have rarely been back, often just for short family visits. Please share some things that are new and different in Muscatine...

I remember Heinz field, many fond memories there...

School board moved to an old church on Mulberry - at the end of Tipton Rd.

Lots of buildings torn down and parking lots put in - check out 2nd and 3rd street.

Riverfront is continually changing

Mall keeps trying to stay alive, but so far isn't doing that great.

To do any grocery shopping you basically need to hit the bypass (hwy 61 going around the town) Downtown has drugtown with a little shopping and south end has ??? where the old sunmart use to be

The town is growing up on the other side of the bypass - lots of neighborhoods springing up.

Happy Joes burned down, but we're expecting to see a new building

The pool at weedpark was filled and now there is a waterpark. The toys at weedpark were torn out and new ones put in behind the rose garden.

There is a skate park down by Musser park

This list goes on....
