Margaret “Peg” Renfro, 78, of Muscatine, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at Unity Point – Trinity Rock Island.  Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 11, 2024, at Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery.  A memorial has been established at the funeral home in memory of Peg.  Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.  The Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Muscatine is caring for Peg’s family and arrangements.

Margaret Joanne Bunn was born on February 13, 1946, in Muscatine, Iowa the daughter of Fred William and Willyan Alberta (Hart) Bunn.  She was a graduate of Muscatine High School and then received her Associate Degree from Muscatine Community College.  Peg was united in marriage to Jimmy Renfro and later divorced.  Peg was a Group Home Mom for Muscatine County Residential Services for many years.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church and enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking and going to the Muscatine Y to exercise, but most of all, she loved being a mom.

Peg will be deeply missed by her children, Julie (Mark) Berry of Muscatine and Steve Renfro of Muscatine; two grandchildren, Jimi Berry and Michael (Tearney) Berry; one great grandson, Winston Berry; one brother, Larry Bunn of Massachusetts and sister-in-law, Jann Bunn of Muscatine.

Peg was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Michael Bunn.
