My condolences to Ted's Family. We grew up just two blocks away and I rode my bike over there many times. Ted was a good friend all thru school and all thru our time at First Baptist Church, continued on when I started going to Calvary Church. He was a very hard worker and I had always been impressed with all he did at Spring Valley Camp. One year we had a church event out there and he was in charge of the grill. Well he got called to one of the building after he had started the charcoal. He just said in passing...."Cork watch the fire". Well I did but realized there was too much charcoal going for what we were to cook and started removing some to the side. I remember Bruce Martin and others saying "Cork better stop you don't want to make Ted made!". I replied "Ted and I grew up together, I know him, it will be fine". They started backing away when they saw him coming back....like I had the plague or something..."you're gonna get it now Cork!" Ted walked up and said... "Thanks for taking care of getting the fire ready..I appreciate it"....you should seen there faces.....on each face was stunned surprise.....no one expected that reply❤️🙏✝️‼️Rest In Peace My Friend....God Holds You Now..."Well done My good and faithful servant"❤️🙏✝️‼️
