Raymond "Pete" Ribbink Obituary

Raymond “Pete” Ribbink, 76, of Muscatine, died Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at his home.  Private family services will be held.  A memorial has been established.  Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.  Snyder & Hollenbaugh are caring for Pete’s arrangements and his family. 

Raymond Earl Ribbink was born on October 29, 1946 in Muscatine, Iowa, the son of Robert Addison and Mary Naomi (Hahn) Ribbink.  Pete proudly served his country during the Vietnam Conflict in the 101st Airborne Division from 1966-1968.  On June 6, 1969, Pete was united in marriage to Beverly Jo Heuer at the Lincoln Blvd Baptist Church in Muscatine.  Pete worked in production at Cargill AgHorizons, retiring in 2012.   He enjoyed fishing, hunting, his dog,  Rudy and spending time with his family. 

Pete will be deeply missed by his children, Warren Scott (Cathy) Ribbink, Lee Raymond Ribbink, Traci Joanne (Steve) Stoneking and Kirsten Beverly (Kory) Hogan, all of Muscatine; grandchildren, Hannah (Damon) Stalkfleet, Jordan Stoneking, Mya Ribbink, Drayven Ribbink, Kord Ribbink, Riley Stoneking, Finley Stoneking, Abigail Everett, Darrah Ribbink, McKenna Hogan and Maverick Hogan; great-grandchildren, Braxton and Emma Stalkfleet; brothers, Larry (Kay) Ribbink of Muscatine and Jerry (Rena) Ribbink of Muscatine; sister-in-law, Catherine Ribbink of Muscatine; brother-in-law, Randy Heuer of Muscatine and sister-in-law, Barbara Heuer of Muscatine.  

Pete was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Beverly in 2006, brother, Robert E. Ribbink and his beloved Irish Water Spaniel, Callie.
