Skyhawk Observatory Posted Thursday, December 23, 2010 08:48 AM For all the years at MHS I was part of the astonomy and photo club. My first look through the school's 6-inch telescope had me hooked. If you never looked through it, you missed something. I spent free times viewing sunspots and evenings looking at wonders of the universe. Some day I thought... Throughout the years I ground mirrors, built telescopes, and never stopped looking skyward. Digital photography replace film and darkrooms, and modern telescopes gave amateurs views that only professionals once were able to see. I dabbled in astrophotography the best I could, but living in urban areas never provided the "some day" I wanted: a place to build an observatory and permanently have my telescope ready to go. So, it is with admiration and applause that I am posting this link to Rick Kazmierki's website for having done what I still dream about: http://www.skyhawkobservatory.com/ |

RE: Skyhawk Observatory Posted Wednesday, October 30, 2013 05:45 PM I remember the physics class doing timed drop test from the base of the telescope. |
