MACLAM, MR. RUSSELL ARTHUR Roosevelt Park Mr. Russell Arthur Maclam, age 48, died Saturday, January 16, 2010. He was born in Muskegon, MI on January 24, 1961 to Robert & Dolores (Lancaster) Maclam. Mr. Maclam had been employed by Johnson Technology, Howmet & currently employed by Quality Appliances as a salesman. SURVIVORS Son, Jacob Heethuis of Grand Rapids, MI; 4 grandchildren, Mariah, Gary Jr., Damion & Dakota Hines; brother, Robert Maclam of Rothbury; 2 sisters, Denise King of MO & Linda (Bob) Hartson of Montague; fiance, Carolyn Miller of Muskegon; step-father, Joe Gundy; step-siblings, Debra Stone, Von Korstange, Joe Gundy Jr. & Lisa Wright. Russ also had a life long friend, Todd Ellis.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Delores; father, Robert; sister, Debra Ellis; & brothers, Jeff & Jace Gundy.

MEMORIAL SERVICE Wednesday, January 20, 2010, 4:00 PM at American Legion in Whitehall with Pastor Ben Jansen officiating. MEMORIAL: In lieu of flowers, please consider donations To The Family.

Recently, Russ suffered with some health issues regarding his heart. Although his health was looking to be headed in the right direction, he unfortunately suffered a fatal heart attack in his sleep just a short time later.

I will miss you buddy! We had MANY years of laughter, fishing, and just knowing that we would be there for each other, no matter the circumstances. No matter how much time may pass between our meetings, it was always like old times- FRIENDS FOREVER! WE Will CERTAINLY MEET AGAIN> SEE YA' MY BROTHER.

miss ya big russ , grew up with ya from the neighborhood, remember lots of partys at your house , having to carry  our drunk butts home, the gentle giant  helluva good guy , i,m sure everybody agrees with me on that one , sadly missed and taken to soon , my thoughts and prayers are with his family , russ was one of a kind
