Scott B. Schugars, age 63, passed away Saturday, November 23, surrounded by family. He was born June 4, 1961 in Muskegon to William M. and Janet (VanderSlute) Schugars. Scott worked as a product designer for Enterprise Brass Works and later for Lift Tech. On June 8, 1991, he married Kimberly A. Johnson in Muskegon. He was a member of Discovering Christ Church. Scott was also an avid drag racer at the Martin Speedway and Oceola Dragway. He also enjoyed building model trains and displays at home. Survivors include his loving wife, Kim Schugars; 2 amazing children, Danielle Schugars, Bill Schugars; 3 sisters, Suzanne (Frank) Eaton, Shelley (Tim) Shifman, Stacey (Eric) Laszlo; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 daughter, Hannah Schugars.

A Celebration of Life for Scott will be 11:00 AM Saturday, November 30 at Discovering Christ Church (2330 Holton Rd. Muskegon, MI 49445) with Pastor Scott VanArendonk officiating. Visitation with the family will take place following the service, during the luncheon time at church.

This is a fund through the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center — that despite the name, a major emphasis of the Center is FTD.
