In the summer of 1966, Don and I worked at Tulsa Gas on corner of Sherman Blvd. and Summit Rd. He was a great person and a funny guy. We had some funny/good times that summer. We both got drafted and went together to Detroit Induction Center. Don overslept and missed the Army call, and instead got swept up by the Marine Corp. So Don was drafted into the Marine Corp. We served in-country at the same time and came back. Donald was my friend and my brother in arms. When ever I was in Western Michigan, I would try to visit Don and Rita. What a wonderful couple. I will not hold back tears.
