Raymond Gamez Contreras 
July 10, 1958 - February 14, 2010

Raymond Gamez Contreras, 51, of Jonesboro passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2010, at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born July 10, 1958 in Fresno, California into the family of Antonio V. and Irene Gamez Contreras.

He was a retired Assistant Manager at Wal-Mart and was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara “Plank” Contreras of the home; two sons, Cory Contreras of the home, and Raymond Contreras, Jr. of Muskogee, OK; two daughters, Ashly Contreras of the home, and Natasha Lopez of Muskogee, OK; three grandchildren; his mother Irene Peterson of Checotah, OK; and one sister, Marilyn Tollette of Boyton, OK.

Active pallbearers will be Raymond Contreras, Jr., Cory Contreras, Steve Leslie, Bill Plank, Dan Plank, and Curtis Plank. Honorary Pallbearer will be Chuck White.

Graveside funeral services and burial will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Pine Log Cemetery with Elroy A. Tesch, Jr. officiating.

Visitation will be from 11:00 pm to 12:00 p.m. Thursday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home.
