Marjorie Lenore Rolland, 51, of Muskogee, died Thursday, October 21, 2010. She was born June 18, 1959 in Muskogee to Bill Howard Jones and Phyllis (Campbell) Jones. She grew up in Muskogee where she graduated from Muskogee High School. Marjorie loved life and her family. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was an active member of her church. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Jeffrey Jones and Doug Jones. Marjorie is survived by her husband, J.R. Rolland of the home; three sons, Kyle VanNortwick and Adam VanNortwick both of Muskogee and Matthew Jones of Tahlequah; brother, Lin Jones of Bartlesville and three grandchildren, Kenadi VanNortwick, Jadyn Marie VanNortwick, and Alex Lee VanNortwick, all of Muskogee. "I lost you as a best friend, but gained memories, that I thought were gone. God put your life in front of me to succeed. I've got you on my side nothing can keep us down. You will be missed." Love you, Jadyn, Alex, Kenadi and sons. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 1, 2010 at Greenhill Cemetery with Pastor Chester Thomas officiating. Funeral service arrangements are under the direction of Foster-Petering Funeral Home.
