Dear Friends,

I wanted to let you know that I have become a volunteer to help underprivileged inner city teens participate in an outdoor program that could change their lives. Many of these kids have never ventured out of the dire living circumstances of the “concrete jungle”, and are at risk – I’ve decided to help by committing to raise $4,000 which will fund 7 of these kids on a week long life changing outdoor adventure. Here, they will learn how to challenge themselves through hard work, dedication, and focus that they can have a positive impact on their future. I am one of ten people chosen by Climbing Magazine to “Summit of Someone”, the kids in this case.  On my mountain climb in Wyoming this August, I will attempt to summit a 13,000’ peak in an effort to bring attention to this fund raising effort.  This climb will benefit the kids.  It’s simple to donate, just click on this link and enter the necessary information.   <http://www.summitforsomeone.org/donate?page=4&climber=8661>
