Jeri Walker-Boone (Cruz)--MBHS Class of 1968

Dear Randy,

This is Jeri Walker-Boone (Cruz)--MBHS Class of 1968.  I am greatly in need of prayers for my step-son, Michael Cruz, who is 28 years old and is in End Stage Renal Failure.  He has suffered with Juvenile Diabetes since he was 10 years old and has not been a totally compliant patient with regard to his diet and watching his sugar level.  This was especially true when he was an adolescent.  As a result he has severe diabetic retinopathy and has undergone over 50 laser surgeries on both eyes in attempts to keep him from going blind.

Lately, he has been in and out of the hospital and in ICU numerous times with End Stage Renal Failure.  Currently he is on Dialysis but needs a kidney transplant.  Unfortunately, BECAUSE he is NOT a compliant patient, he is NOT a candidate for a kidney.  Therefore, once the Dialysis stops working sufficiently, he will perish due to diabetes.

I am a FIRM BELIEVER in the power of Intercessory Prayers and would hope my classmates and friends from MBHS would pray for him.

BTW: He lives in Columbia, SC and is in and out of Palmetto Baptist Hospital almost every week now.
