Gretchen Giel (Abney) (1965)

My memories are too many to visit here. And even in sad times, they are wonderful. Ours was a lifelong friendship from  M.B. to N.Y.C. back to M.B. Chuck was probably the best friend I have ever known. He was always there for me...certainly my biggest cheerleader...the best partner in crime ever...and rarely ever without his famous smile. We could laugh for hours together. He had his convictions and one would be hard pressed to challenge them. I never wanted to. We lived our best of times in the theater and in New York. And were so fortunate. I miss him every day,                                                                                   - Gretchen Giel Abney
