When Linda moved to Nacogdoches, I think we were in the second grade at Raguet (is that right John L.?). I remember this adorable little girl with long braids and beautiful brown eyes joining our class. Throughout the years, she remained just as sweet as she was pretty.

I last saw Linda at an Astro's game in Houston....this attractive woman was coming up the isle and she looked so familiar. Lo and behold it was Linda & they had seats right next to us. Needless to say, we didn't watch much of the game but talked and talked instead. She was a very classy, beautiful lady.....I admired her so much.

When I transferred into Nacogdoches schools from Chireno, our second grade teacher, Mrs. Dover, must have been seating students alphabetically.  My desk was next to Linda's.  She was the shortest, cutest girl in class.  Next to her I felt like a scarecrow.  But Linda soon made me feel at home and I will always be thankful to her for that.

I HAD A COUSIN WHO LIVED ON GARNER ST. AND NEXT DOOR TO THE ALDERS, WE BECAME FRIENDS W/ LINDA AND HER BROTHER BOBBY, WHO ALWAYS PICKED AT US GIRLS.  WE WERE IN JUNIOR SCHOOL, I THINK, MS IS ACTIVE .  SHE ALWAYS WAS SO MUCH FUN.  WE WERE ALWAYS EXPLORING THE CREEK BEHIND THE HOUSES.  MY COUSIN MOVED AND I DID NOT SEE LINDA EXCEPT AT SCHOOL, BUT SHE ALWAYS HAD THAT SAME SMILE AND WARMTH TO HER. SHE WILL BE DEARLY MISSED....

We miss you Linda. You are a stand out in my memories of TJ Rusk and NHS as well as later at SFA. At NHS before school started, many of the senior class would meet on the steps just outside the library on the second floor. You were always there and thank God someone (you) had always done their homework!!!! Love you and miss you....
