Steve & I shared the same birthday....April 16th. We used to wish each other Happy Birthday every year. We grew up in the same neighborhood...over on the south side. He is missed by so many.
I visited Steve and Tommy Daniel when they were starting a sign business together. They later went their seperate business ways. Of course Steve grew his business to one of the largest in East Texas. I don't remember the last time I saw him but his illness had ravaged him. Seeing his school photo allows me to remember him when he was young and ready to tackle the world.
