Lloyd died on July 9, 2007 in Nacogdoches.   He was born August 2, 1954, son of Earl and Vida Marie Finklea Harris.    Lloyd graduated from SFA with a major in criminal justice and business.   Perhaps the greatest joy of his life was his career was business owner of The Gun Shop.
