Beckie “Mimi” Wilson Blanton passed away on November 7, 2022, in Nacogdoches, Texas, at the age of 65. She was born August 15, 1957 in Nacogdoches, Texas to parents Durell Wilson and Murvis Lunsford Wilson.

Beckie graduated from Nacogdoches High School in 1975 and married the love of her life Larry Blanton on June 7, 1975. She was a member of Nacogdoches Congregational Methodist Church and worked as a property manager for many years.

Beckie loved playing board games; especially Yahtzee, reading, Hallmark movies and spending time with her family and friends.

Beckie is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Diana Wilson.

She is survived by husband, Larry Blanton; son, Kyle Blanton and wife Erin; daughter, Ashley Blanton; son, Kenneth Blanton; grandchildren, Avery Blanton, Austin Collins and girlfriend Catherine Weems, Matthew Clifton, Maddison Clifton, Jaiden and Michael Blanton.

Serving as pallbearers: Matthew Clifton, Austin Collins, Myles Turregano, Chris Blanton, Jeff Blanton and Jimmy Dalton. Honorary pallbearers: Eric Haltom, Cass Turregano, Chunk Clifton, and Stan Hogan.

The family will receive friends, Thursday, November 10, 2022, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be held, 2:00 PM, Friday, November 11, 2022, Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
