Michael Anthony Berry was born October 21, 1956, to Martha and Luther Berry in Nacogdoches, Texas. Michael accepted Christ at an early age. He graduated from Nacogdoches High School in 1975. On June 18, 1983, he married his wife, Armour "Roni" Berry. In 2008, he retired from Eaton Power Services and continued to reside in Nacogdoches until his passing on March 5, 2022.

Michael is preceded in death by his wife Roni; parents, Luther and Martha; step-farther, Leroy Harris; brothers, Charles "Wayeno" and Larry; and sister Bertha.

Mike leaves to cherish his memories: his children, LaTwon Berry, Edric Berry, and Nicki Taylor; His grandchildren, Tyra, Jaylon, LaTwon Jr., Antwon, Ariyah, Karter, Rylee; Sisters: Evelyn, Veronica, Pam (Stephen), Jasmine, Ethel Mae, and LaMekia; Brothers: Verdis, Barry and Tony; Sisters-in-love: Sonya (Randy), Shirley (Ricky), Patricia and MaryLee. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
