 Graveside service for Jimmy Stephens, age 56, of Nacogdoches will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 23, 2013, at McKnight Cemetery, located on County Road 975 in Cushing, with Bro. Sonny Scarborough officiating. Jimmy was born Sept. 16, 1956 to parents Marion "Hot Shot" Stephens and Sue Fenton Stephens. Jimmy passed away at Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital on June 18, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents. Jimmy is survived by his daughter, Nadia Stephens of Nacogdoches; brother, Ronnie Stephens and wife Vicki of Nacogdoches; sister Tricia Reeves of Nacogdoches; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Saturday, June 22, 2013, at Cason Monk-Metcalf. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the hospice of your choice. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors.

This makes me so sad. I have thought about Jimmy many times over the years.we actually sang together at my going away party.....he had the better voice for sure. He will be in my heart forever.
